Name change Evelyne Lozie Maes

On 1 July 2024, Evelyne Maes requested the registrar to change her name to Evelyne Lozie Maes. As of 24 July 2024, her name is changed.

The European Court of Human Rights has recognised for years the right of a child to express, through his family name, his connection with both his families. She is happy that Belgian law allows her to express the connection with her mother's family through her surname as well.
